Rory & Chanté | Engaged

True love is hard to find. When I first heard this couple’s story, my heart melted. It was at a friend’s graduation party last summer when I met Chanté and Rory. They’re the kind of people whose smiles and personalities brighten the room anywhere they are. Two years ago, Chanté had just graduated and was moving back to her hometown in Huntington Beach. To get in some last minute hangouts and good byes, she hung out with a friend at the mall and ran into her friend and Rory. This was the first time they had ever set eyes on each other. They hung out the next night. After she had gone home that evening and was getting ready for bed, she got text from Rory saying that he had fun and it was nice meeting me. The next day she had packed up and left for Huntington. The entire time she was gone they talked CONSTANTLY; all day and all night, text messages, phone calls, email, everything. She came back to Redding two months later, hung out with Rory and he asked her to be his girlfriend. Of course she said yes!!! They became extremely close, spent every day together; they were BEST FRIENDS! Around October, Rory explained to Chanté that he was moving back to England for 6 months in December!! A month before he left he proposed!! AND SHE SAID YESSSSS!!! He left back to England that December; they said their goodbyes and they both cried. The entire time he was gone, they talked on the phone and did what they could with the eight hour time difference. THEY MISSED EACHOTHER. Twenty-two days later, Chanté picked Rory up from San Francisco International Airport and have been together ever since :)!!!!!!! (SERIOUSLY their story should be made into a movie....NO LIE!!) I had chatted with Chanté a while ago about doing an engagement session and I immediately got excited!! Now they are ready to start a new chapter to their story. We met in Downtown Redding last Saturday and started shooting…and let me tell ya, these guys are PROS!!!! Seriously, check them out!!
