Boy or Girl | Baby Gender Reveal

When Tayler had emailed me about the idea of doing a gender reveal shoot, I was extremely excited! How fun!! As we discussed and shared different ideas, the vision of the reveal became more clear. It is always things like this that make me love my job; working with clients that are as jazzed about their images as I am, having fun and energetic personalities, and creating something that individuals will share for a lifetime.  I am so excited to share these images. Enjoy some of my favorites!!

Isn't she a doll?!

Here we go!!!!

Congratulations you two!! So extremely excited for you :) I cannot
wait to meet and photograph your sweet baby girl later this fall!

Sunday's Sweet Reminder | Cousin Camping Trip 2012

Last month (I know I'm REALLLYYY late on this post!!) we had our annual cousins camping trip. And when I say annual, this is our third year :) lol Some families are big and some families are small and some are just average sized. To say there are just a few of us Watkins cousins would be an understatement. Three years ago, four of us started a tradition that we hoped would continue for a lifetime. We set up a couple tents, ate some good food, fished all weekend, caught bull frogs, and most importantly, made memories. The next year there were around ten of us, so that made for more shenanigans and more memory making. This year, there was about twenty of us there!! We all met at Brandon and Mattea's property up at Eastman Lake for the weekend. It is always a good time spent with all of us cousins; we fish, hangout at camp or on a boat, catch up on the new happenings of each others lives, and eat good food!! haha This year we took the boats up around to the Ahjumawi Lava Springs State Park where we packed up a picnic lunch and stayed for a few hours to visit, fish, kayak, and enjoy the scenery. During our time at Eastman Lake, the Hex Fly hatch was taking place at the famous Fall River. It was so amazing to see all of these Hex Flies on the water; there were thousands!!!!! Fish were jumping everywhere! Another very special thing for us cousins is when Granny & Poppa come out to visit!! (and this year Granny made us a big batch of her AMAZING donuts!! Which were gone in a flash :) Sitting there with almost all the cousins, the soon to be cousins, and our grandparents really makes me thankful for the life and the family God has given me. This Sunday's Sweet Reminder is to cherish those moments spent with family and friends. Be INCREDIBLY thankful for the time you get to spend with them. I hope next year we can have ALL of our cousins together :)

Unfortunately, my battery died in my camera because I forgot to charge it..........ooppss..so enjoy a few of the pictures I was able to take!! (and some from my iPhone :) Have a blessed Sunday friends!
